Mary Lu Jean "Jeanne" East's Obituary
East, Mary Lu Jean (Jeanne), was born on July 25, 1934 in Lime Creek, Minnesota and resided in Tulsa, Oklahoma. On December 23rd Jeanne went to be with Jesus in her retirement home of Branson Missourisurrounded by her family and friends. Jeanne was born in a Minnesota farmhouse, moved to Sioux Falls South Dakota in 1947, and graduated from Cathedral High School in 1952. She married in 1954 and raised her family of six children in Sioux Falls. Jeanne was an excellent cook, loved to garden, and was an avid reader. She moved to Tulsa Oklahoma in 1987, and attended Rhema Bible Training Center in 1990. During her residency in Oklahoma, Jeanne worked for Avis and was an active member at Church On The Move. She was a woman of faith and love, with many close friendsand will be truly missed by all those who knew her.The family will receive visitors at Floral Haven Funeral Home on Monday, December 27th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Services will be held on Tuesday, December 28th at 10:00 AM at the Floral Haven Chapel, with a reception immediately following the service.Survived By: her six children: Paul East, Mary Murphy, Rachael Jean Costello, Greg East, Kathy East, and Lori Sheldon; her brother Vincent Gravett; nine precious grandchildren, and five beautiful great grandchildren.
