Mary Lower, 75, of Collinsville, Oklahoma, passed away on June 11, 2026.
Mary was born on May 22, 1951, in Wagoner, OK, to Loy Millsap and Ocie McCelland. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend whose life was marked by hard work, faith, and love for her family.
Mary spent many years serving her community as a Deputy Treasurer at the Cherokee County Courthouse, where she was known for her dedication, dependability, and strong work ethic. She took great pride in her work and earned the respect of those who had the privilege of working alongside her.
In her free time, Mary enjoyed reading, sewing, quilting, and tending to her flower gardens. She found joy in creating beautiful things with her hands and nurturing the flowers that brightened her home. Above all, Mary cherished her children and grandchildren, who were the center of her world. She never missed an opportunity to encourage, support, and love them.
A woman of deep faith, Mary faced life's challenges with strength, grace, and unwavering trust. Her determination and loving spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband Forest Ernie Earnest Jr, brothers Jerry Wayne, George Ray, Troy Lynn Millsap, sisters Ella Mae Towie, Patricia Ann Grimmett and her parents
Mary is survived by her daughter Vjosa Gurule and husband Shawn, daughter Gloria Lower, sister Donna Crow, sister Rosette Terrell, brother Dean Millsap, along with numerous grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, loved ones, and her Cherokee County Treasurer Office Family.
Services are pending with Floral Haven Funeral Home.
