Mary Ida Myers' Obituary
Mary Ida Myers, born on September 9, 1945, in Boise City, OK, passed away on June 28, 2023. She was a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who worked in Home Health Care throughout her career until her retirement. Despite not attending college, Mary worked hard and excelled in her profession. She was known for her commitment to providing compassionate care to her patients.
When she wasn't working, Mary found joy in various creative pursuits. She had a passion for arts and crafts, specializing in doll making and sewing. She also loved drawing, coloring, reading, and engaging in macrame projects. An avid fan of the Denver Broncos, Mary enjoyed watching their games and cheering for her favorite team. Her faith played a significant role in her life, as she was a devoted Christian who cherished her relationship with God.
Mary had a spirited and expressive personality. She was feisty and fearlessly expressed herself, dancing to her own tune. She lived life on her terms and approached each day with a vibrant spirit.
Mary will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her profession, her creative spirit, her love for the Denver Broncos, and her strong faith. Her feisty and expressive nature will leave a lasting impression on all those who knew and loved her. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Annie Casados; her siblings, Opal Schou, Esther Barcelon, Benito Guerin, Joe Guerin, Eumelia Martinez, and Mary (Chana) Figueroa. She is survived by her loving daughter, Candace Davis, and her husband Brian; her son, Levi Myers, and his wife, Kristen; her grandchildren, Taylor Wright and her husband, Corey, Chase Davis, BriAnn Myers, Jackson Myers, and Olivia Myers. She is also survived by her brother, Sam Casados, and his wife, Gayle, as well as numerous other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Celebration of Life Service will be 3:00 pm, Friday, July 7, 2023, at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel
