Mary Ann Ragan's Obituary
Mary Ann Ragan, 81, resident of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed away on July 25, 2022. Mary Ann was born on June 18, 1941, in Shell Rock, Iowa. She attended and graduated from Shell Rock High School. She was a wonderful, caring individual who put the needs of everyone else first. Her pride and joy were her three grandchildren who affectionately called her "Nah Nah" She will be missed terribly but many people whose lives she touched will remember her warmth and kindness.
Mary Ann was preceded in passing by her parents, Pete and Katie Berends; her brother, Bud Berends, and wife Shirley; her brother, Leonard Berends, and sister, Lucille Nitcher.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years Ronald Ragan; her son, Robert Ragan and wife LaRhesa; her three grandchildren, Sarah Ragan, Emily Ragan, and Matthew Ragan; Three step-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren; her brother-in-law Raymond Nitcher; her sister-in-law, Eileen Berends and many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Visitation will be 5-7 pm, Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be Friday, July 29, 2022, at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
