I spent most of my time with Joan after she moved to assisted living in Tulsa. She took on the challenge of a whole new home and life with a smile and great deal of grace. Laughter is what I will remember most about her. I will always miss her.

I am so thankful I got to spend time with my grandma before she passed. I am thankful it brought me closer to my dad, Mike and Becky. It brought my uncle Danny for a great dinner at Bonefish, and i look forward to seeing my cousin Bailey and her family and my brothers Max and Ryan if they can attend. I guess thats really what grandmas do…whether its around a Christmas tree or an Easter egg hunt…or grandpas enchilladas, she brought us together, with only the smile on her face that made us all feel loved and welcomed and warm in our core. I miss you grandma. Brandon.
