Mary Ann Shiever's Obituary
Mary Ann Shiever, 87 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Heritage Point Nursing Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born the youngest of nine children on July 12, 1932 in Wakeeney, Kansas to her parents, Ervin Samuel Hafliger and Pauline Anna Mayer Hafliger. She married the love of her life, Leslie Shiever on December 7, 1952 of Morrison, Oklahoma. They shared almost 40 years together and raised four sons before Leslie’s passing in 1992. In 1953 when they moved to Tulsa they joined Our Savior Lutheran Church which Mary Ann was a member for 66 years. Mary Ann is survived by four sons, Allen Shiever and his wife Julie of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Craig Shiever and his wife Beth of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Russell Shiever and his wife Charlotte of Claremore, Oklahoma and Terry Shiever and his wife Ann of Skiatook, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Laura, Monica, Sarah and Aaron Shiever; and one sister-in-law, Janis Elaine Fleenor and her husband Robert of Olathe, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her husband Leslie Shiever; one grandson, James Shiever; six brothers; two sisters; and one sister-in-law, Gaylene Graham and her husband Lloyd.Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma with Pastor Tim Dreier officiating. Burial will be at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Garden of St. Paul, immediately following services.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 2448 E 81st St #3000, Tulsa, OK 74137.
