Mary Katherine Stone, 90 of Lee’s Summit, Missouri (formerly of Tulsa, Oklahoma) passed from this life on Saturday, September 15, 2018 in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. She was born on February 18, 1928 in Wallins Creek, Kentucky to the late James Franklin King and Hazel Virginia Howard King.Mary worked many years in retail sales for places such as Dillard’s, Macy’s and Emery Bird Thayer. She served as president of the Plaza Executive Women’s Club in Kansas City, Missouri and she enjoyed hobbies like painting, golfing and sewing.Mary was married to her beloved husband, Clyde M. Stone for 51 years. Mary is survived by two sons, Bruce Springer and wife Karen of Sierra Vista, Arizona and Robin Springer and wife Julie of Camarillo, California; two step-daughters, Connie Rizzo and husband Ken of Springfield, Missouri and Brenda Schlatweiler and husband Bill of St. Peters, Missouri; one sister, Sonyia King Lee and husband Yutana; six grandchildren, Steve, Brian, Nick, Amy, Shane and Kim; four great-grandchildren, Serena, Oliver, Sophia and Roman; and numerous loving nieces, nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde M. Stone; her parents; sisters, Lois Campbell and Virginia Corsello; brother, James C. King and half brother, Ralph King.There are no scheduled services at this time.
