Mary Leona Temple was born on March 8, 1932, to Ewald and Anna (Schumacher) Gerken, in Dubuque, Iowa. She is survived by her son, James Temple and his wife, Robin of Conway, Arkansas, daughter, Connie Temple of Bixby, Oklahoma, and son, Kevin Temple and his wife, Denise of Katy, Texas; grandchildren: Kevin’s children, Nick Temple, Dakota Temple, Lucas Temple, Joe Temple, Preston Hickson, Bryce Hickson, and Marissa Hickson, and Connie’s son, Ashley Brooks; a great-grandson, Connie’s grandson, Henry Brooks; siblings, William Gerken, Ewald Gerken, and Delores Gerken; and several nieces and nephews. Mary is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Temple; and seven siblings.
