Mary Ellen Woodward's Obituary
Mary Ellen Woodward, 95, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed from this life, Sunday, October 24, 2021, in Broken Arrow. Mary was born June 27, 1926, to Lawrence Craig and Mercy Mable (Peterson) Riseling in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
She graduated from Sand Springs High School in 1942, and married the love of her life, Donald Earl Woodward December 31, 1947 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
She was a member of Arrow Heights Baptist Church.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband: Donald Earl on Woodward August 31, 2006.
She is surived by her daughter Deborah (Broken Arrow, OK), her son Donald (Gordon, Texas), her sister Betty Kellams (Broken Arrow, OK) and brother Lawrence (Blackwell, OK). Mary has four grandchildren: Jennifer Kosty and husband Keith, Janna Doughty, Melissa Greer and husband, Joshua; and Kendra Garza and husband, Joshua; eight great-grandchildren: Alexander Colombo, Gabriel Colombo, Kayla Kosty, Megan Kosty, Tanner Wise, Amelia Garza, Zach Greer, and Tim Greer; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Memorials can be made in Mary's name to John 3:16 or to St. Judes Children's Hospital.
A visitation will be held 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM, Sunday, October 31, 2021 at the Floral Haven Funeral Home, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, November 01, 2021 at the Floral Haven Chapel, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
