Matthew Wayne Long-Chairez, 17 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at his home with his family by his side. He was born on February 21, 2005 to his mother, Angela Marie Chairez Garcia.
Matthew is survived by his loving mother, Angela Garcia of the home; six siblings, Katie Long of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Christina Long of Glenpool, Oklahoma, Emilio Garcia of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Brendan Garcia of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Julian Perez of McAlester, Oklahoma and Jordan Perez of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; three aunts, Luz Chairez, Adriana and Ivvet Chairez all of Tulsa, Oklahoma; maternal grandparents, Fernando and Elizabeth Chairez of Tulsa, Oklahoma; special friend, Jerrimy Dardenne of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and many friends, classmates, teachers and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Karla Tarango and his maternal great-grandmother, LaVerne Williams.
A visitation will be held from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
