Matthew Bradford Thompson's Obituary
Matthew “Matt” Bradford Thompson, 35, passed away on May 20, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Matt was born on October 6, 1988, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to James Patrick Thompson and Michelle (Pitts) Deitch. He brought joy and kindness to all who knew him. Matt's warm spirit and generous heart will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and community. Matt was a devoted Christian. He enjoyed many things in life including fishing, guns, gaming with friends, and most importantly, cheering on his beloved Philadelphia Eagles. Matt was a people person, who was forever loyal to his friends and always had their backs. Matt was a gentle giant who you could always count on to protect those who were smaller (which, to him, was everyone). During Matt’s working years, he excelled in the sales industry. He had a strong work ethic and was even making sales up until his passing. He leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will be cherished forever.
He is survived by his mother Michelle Pitts Deitch (Alan); sisters Cindi Larochelle (Louis, deceased), Jill Hansen (Todd), Sally Giordano (Bruno), Rachelle Whitney (John), Ashley From (Daniel), Brittany Deitch; brother Robert “Bob” Deitch; aunt Alison Korman (Ron); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father James Patrick Thompson; brother James Patrick Thompson, Jr.; and brother-in-law Louis Larochelle.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12:30 PM on Friday, May 31, 2024 at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Andrew Conley officiating.
