What a testimony all of you have been to God’s abiding faithfulness. We rejoice that Mo is once again singing God’s praises. But we also know that your hearts are breaking. We pray that the Lord will comfort and hold you close in the coming days.
I am so sorry to hear of Mo’s passing, but am happy her suffering is over. I have been praying for her and you her family through her battle.Mo was my first friend in this world, my earliest memories in life have her in them. We were the same age and my family went to the church her father was the pastor of. She moved from my hometown and her birthplace, Tilden, Ne at age 5, however our families have remained relatively close throughout that time. They all were like family to me.Please know my prayers continue to be with your family!
Maureen lived her life to the end with a great love for God and for Mark his husband and son Zach. We were impressed with Maureen’s sense of humor, her lack of complaining and desire for God to be seen in all her illnesses as her Provider. God provided perfect healing and she finished her course well. Thank you for your example that you have gone before us to help us as we prepare for our time of home going to Heaven.
We pray for Mark and Zach that they carry on her message of hope to the world throughout their lives. God is the Provider of all we need.
I am so sorry for your loss. May the many happy memories you shared together be of some comfort to you in the days ahead. And may you find hope in God’s promises to soon undo ‘all tears, mourning, pain and even death’ Rev. 21:4 and to remember our loved ones in the coming resurrection (John 5:28). We are praying for you, Mark and Zach. I know our Lord will be your comfort and strength just as he promises. My mother passed away about 30 minutes before Mo, and her obituary follows Mo’s. Two very sweet ladies entered heaven on Monday. Mo (and you) have demonstrated for all of us what it means to walk by faith in Jesus, trusting him and depending on him. He has been beautifully glorified in the journey you two have walked. We grieve with you and for you.
