Max Campbell's Obituary
Max Campbell, 87, was born in Wichita, Kansas on November 6, 1929 and passed away on March 29, 2017 in Sperry, Oklahoma.Max loved to preach and share the teaching of the Lord to everyone he met. He adored music, writing songs, and had the the uncanny ability to play any instrument. He loved fishing, spending time with all the kids, and teaching them about his Savior. Max will always be remembered as a loving, generous, and giving man.Max was preceded in death by his wife, Colleen Campbell and brothers, Rex and Victor Campbell. He is survived by his brother, Ralph Campbell; sister Dean Hayworth; sons Johnny, Curtis, and Tommy Campbell; grandchildren Jason McDoulett, David Campbell, Mark Campbell; great grandchildren Makinnley McDoulett, Jacelyn McDoulett, Daicy Campbell, Roper Campbell, and Ava Campbell; and numerous nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held on Monday, 4/3, from 5 pm – 8 pm at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Services will be held in Max’s honor at Floral Haven Chapel on Tuesday, April 4, at 12:30 pm.Family and friends are encouraged to gather at the church for dinner following the service. The church is located at 2044 N. Darlington Place in Tulsa, Oklahoma 74115.
