Reflecting on these past six years I hope that I've made you proud. I am so blessed that you got to be apart of my life for 12 years. I wish you could've been here to watch me accomplish things and see me walk across the stage when I graduate high school. You were my encourager, protector, and gave me so much guidance that I will value forever. People never truly realize what they have until it's gone, and you were someone we all wish we could've had for much longer. I strive to be like you one day to help others and not put myself first. As I look at all the pictures we've ever taken together or the films you recorded when I was a little girl, it's such a privilege to look at your smile and hear your kind soft hearted voice. I treasure all our memories in my heart and I appreciate/respect not only what you did for my family, but for others as well. Anyone who had the opportunity to know you was a very lucky person. Thank you for not only being one of my best friends but treating me as if I were you own. I love you always. ❤️

I didn't keep in touch after school when I moved away from Tulsa, but was very surprised to see Kenny at my father's funeral. How thoughtful it was that he attended. That was January of 1966 and the last time I saw Kenny. Reading his obituary was very enlightening…he was a truly good person all his life. During school years our parents carpooled us to Skilly's Dance School and I attended a few baseball games with Kenny and his family. His father was my dentist and his uncle my orthodontist. His younger brother, Malcolm, was my sister's age. We lived in the same neighborhood. Hearing about Kenny's death was a shock to me. I, too, watch the church service at Boston Avenue Methodist on Sundays. Life is fragile and only temporary, but we certainly miss the good people who pass from this life on earth.

Ken, I really enjoyed knowing you and your family these last 48 years. I roomed with our mutual friend Charles Wu at T.U., and then you and I roomed together one summer. You were best man at my wedding over 37 years ago. Susan sends her love. I remember very well attending your mother's funeral. I enjoyed our visits in recent months but regretted seeing the decline in your health. I was shocked upon learning of your death; I had no idea this was so near. You have been a good friend and a loyal and trustworthy person. May you rest in peace. (918)916-0407
