Max Leon Kurowski's Obituary
Max Kurowski passed away on Saturday evening, December 20th surrounded by his wife and four children. He stayed strong to end not allowing the cancer to beat him after a two-year fight. Born in 1934 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Max graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S. in Engineering in 1961. He moved to Tulsa in 1969 to work with American Airlines, which gave him the opportunity to travel the world. He retired after 24 years and kept busy with the Tulsa Men’s Club and Master Gardener. Family will receive visitors Friday 5-7PM at Floral Haven Chapel with a prayer service to follow at 7PM. Mass will be celebrated Friday at 11AM at the Church of the Ressurection. We will always keep you in our hearts.Survived By: He will be loved and missed by his wife of 45 years, Nancy; daughters and their spouses, Kristy and Mark Rodman, Jennifer and Stephen Humphreys, Kim and Patrick Sauer; and son Michael and Mary Jane Kurowski; and 4 grandhcildren, Benjamin, Sophie, Edward, and Samuel.
