Maxine Belew's Obituary
Belew, Maxine, 90, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and Aunt, ended her battle with Alzheimer’s on May 29, 2014. Maxine was born in Kansas City, MO; married Ted Hagstrom and moved to Tulsa when she was 19. She always lived her life on the go, loved cats, jigsaw puzzles, working in her flower beds, especially raising Iris’s, and helping people. Maxine worked at Zebco for several years. She married Cecil Belew in 1975 and had 20 loving years with him until his death. Former member of Higher Dimensions Church; enjoyed Carlton and Gina’s friendship. Survived by daughter & son-in-law, Jean (John) Hughes; granddaughters, Randee (Mitch) & great-granddaughters, Teagan & Lochlyn Waters ofr AZ; Karri (Mark) & great-granddaughter, Lillian Jones of Broken Arrow; 2 step-granddaughters, Ashli Hughes of OR, great-grandson, Milo; Michelle Mattern of OH, great-grandson, Cam; sister, Carol Weeks; brother, Bruce Weeks, and niece JoMel Weeks; cousins Keith & Edna Greene of AR & Shirley Caskey of VA; special friends, June Cockrell and Mike, Debi & Rocky Renfro. Services & Interment will be held at Floral Haven on 6-2-14 at 10:00, with Carroll Jones officiating.
