MayEtta Rush's Obituary
Mayetta Rush, 88, of Tulsa, died on Friday, January 17, 2014. She was born in Poteau, Oklahoma on May 26, 1925, the daughter of Orville and Maude Rush. Mayetta worked as an administrator for Oklahoma Natural Gas for 44 years. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She is survived by her sister, Beatrice Brown, of Sugarland, Texas, nieces and nephews, Donna Minor, and her husband Vern, of Thayer, Kansas, Lynda Rush, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Patty Morris, and her husband Rob, of Kalispell, Montana, Mark Brown, and his wife Cathy, of Sugarland, Texas, Becky Brown, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Matt Brown, of Sugarland, Texas, great-nephews, Matt Minor, and his wife Kristina, of Broomfield, Colorado, Seth Minor, of Steamboat, Colorado, J.T. Brown, of Kingwood, Texas, Trevor Martin, and Tyler Duncan, and numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, J.R. “Dick” Rush, sister, Mildred Samuels, nephew, James Richard Rush, Jr., niece, Mary Ellen Rush Bradford.
