Mayva Jane McCorkle, age 83, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed from this life Friday, December 3, 2021 at home, surrounded by her family. Mayva was born
December 01, 1938, to Hartley John and Loree Lillian (Gillenwater) Hoffman in Long Beach, California. On August 16, 1960, Mayva married the love of her life, Allan Lee "Al" McCorkle at the First Christian Church in Arkansas City, Kansas. They made their home in Las Vegas, Nevada for 19 years, before returning to the Tulsa area with their family in 1986. Mayva and Al had many wonderful years together and were blessed with three sons.
Mayva will be dearly missed by her sons and their families: Mike LeRoy McCorkle, Mark Allen McCorkle and Mitch McCorkle; grandson, Samuel McCorkle, two granddaughters, Katia and Shayla McCorkle.
The family will greet guests 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM, Thursday, December 16, 2021, during visitation at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
A Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow the visitation at 10:00 AM, at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
