Searl, Mazie Bell's Obituary
Mazie Bell Searl, 82, of Tulsa, OK, transitioned on May 1, 2025, to a perfect mind, body, and spirit. She was born in Horatio, AR, to Thomas “TJ” King and Joy B. Compton King. The youngest of eight children -and the only girl - Mazie grew up on a cotton farm, competitively out picking her brothers. While some say she was spoiled, most described Mazie as spunky and temperamental, eventually earning her the nickname “Dynamite.”
Mazie was preceded in death by husband, Loren Searl; daughter, Pamela Thompson; parents; and seven brothers. She is survived by three children: Kathy Dick, Robert (Mary) Searl and Charles “Chuck” Searl; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.
