Melanie is survived by her loving husband, Jon Godwin, and their son, Miller Godwin, who were the center of her universe. She also leaves behind her brother, Brent Miller, and his wife, Richelle, who shared a deep bond of sibling love. Melanie's memory is further honored by her numerous friends and family.
