Melba Jo Nantz's Obituary
Melba Jo Nantz, a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and daughter, passed from this life on January 13, 2022 at the age of 82 at home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Tulsa, OK on January 31, 1939 to Elmer and Mattie Sivers.
Melba is survived by her husband of the home Cecil (Ikey) Ray Nantz Jr. of 63 years, her daughter Connie Morris and her husband Tom, her daughter Kim DeBoard and her husband David, and her son Russell and his wife Ellen. She is also survived by her grandchildren Thomas Morris and his wife Audrey, Brian White, Allison Frakes and her husband Tyler, Britni Hayes and her husband Branon, Rachel Morris, John Morris and his wife Alexya, Baylee White, and Jennifer Nantz; she is survived additionally by 14 great grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
Melba has been a lifelong resident of Oklahoma. She retired from TVGuide in 2002, after working for 45 years. She loved her family, fishing, and camping. She especially loved her grandkids and great grandkids who all called her GG. She enjoyed traveling and going to the casino.
A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, OK. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 4pm to 6pm. Flowers, donations, and condolences may be offered at 6420 S 129th E Ave., Broken Arrow, OK 74012. Everyone is welcome.
