Melinda Lee Persons' Obituary
Melinda L. Persons, 73, passed away Tuesday, August 25th, 2015, in Bixby, Oklahoma. She was born August 19th, 1943, in Los Angeles, California, along with her twin sister, Marcia Anderson. She was a wonderful mother, and a support for all that knew her. Her passion was her family and her faith, which was deep and profound. She attended Victory Christian Center, and was a longtime member of Aglow International. Christmas was her favorite holiday, and the beautiful decorations in her home would warm everyone’s heart the rest of the year. She was incredibly loved by those that have survived her, including her husband, Robert Persons, whom she married on June 15th, 1963, and began a 52 year journey together; her twin sister, Marcia, with whom she shared almost every waking moment, and her sister’s husband, Dennis Anderson; her son Matthew Persons, his wife Tracey, and their two children, Danielle and Nathan; her daughter Melissa Luiskutty, her husband Tom, and their three children, Breanne, Jack, and Lauren. Visitation will be held on August 30th, 2015 from 2-4 PM at Floral Haven . The funeral service will be August 31st, 2015, at 12:30 PM in the Floral Haven Chapel, with a life celebration immediately following at the Family Center.
