Melva Jean Smith's Obituary
Melva Jean Smith, 73, passed away March 16, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born March 6, 1943 in Hartshorne, Oklahoma to the late Melvin & Pamalee Winters. Melva was a Production Control Supervisor for Boeing Aircraft for many years, before retiring in 2005. She was also a loving wife, mother, grandmother, niece, aunt, cousin and friend. Melva was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, Melvin Winters and Pamalee (Smith) Winters, Melva was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Smith, in 2015 and sister, Patsy Jarvis. Melva is survived by her children, Brenda Cordova and her children, Joshua & Erin Cordova and Jamie Cordova of Owasso, Oklahoma; Daniel & Yvette Smith and their children, Jasmine Smith, Jacob Smith and Jordan Smith of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Kimberly & Deno Del Monte and their children, Brandon Del Monte & Logan Del Monte of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Frances K. Smith of Santa Barbara, California; George & Lori Williams and their son, George Williams V of St. Peters, Missouri and Tony Hodges of Tulsa, Oklahoma and his children, Jeana Hodges and Jenna Hodges of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and her beloved Yorkie, “Tinkerbelle” of the home. Visitation will be 10:00 am to 8:00 pm Sunday, March 20, 2016; Family will greet form 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Sunday March 20, 2016. Funeral Services will be 12:30 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2016, Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, followed by interment, Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
