Melvin "Rusty" Flanary's Obituary
Melvin “Rusty” Flanary was born on November 13, 1957 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to his parents Melvin and Imogene Flanary. Rusty attended school in Collinsville till graduation from which he began his career as an oil sales representative at Trico/Weatherford where he worked for 34 years. He married Brenda Crutcher on March 27, 1981. Rusty was a proud member of Collinsville Baptist Tabernacle; he wanted everyone to share the same joy that God had given to him. Rusty was a loving, faithful, strong family man who loved laughter, in other words, he was a prankster. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with friends and family, and telling fantastic stories. He was THE Cardinals Fan. Rusty is survived by his wife, Brenda, his two daughters, Lindsey Boggs and Leigh Munroe, his mother, Imogene Flanary, his two brothers, Don and Rich Flanary, his two granddaughters, Trinidy and Marissa Boggs, and his two grandsons, Zeke and Dean Munroe.
