Merry "Lynnie" Haddan's Obituary
Celebrating the Vibrant Life of Lynnie Haddan
July 22nd, 1945 - January 5th, 2025
With joyful hearts, we celebrate the beautiful life of Merry Lynn "Lynnie" Haddan, who graced this world from July 22nd, 1945 to January 5th, 2025. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Lynnie's vibrant spirit touched everyone she met.
An intelligent and sassy soul, Lynnie was known for her sharp wit and inquisitive nature, always ready with a sarcastic remark and an eager question. She loved to play bridge and had a soft spot for animals, especially strays she couldn't resist bringing home. Nature called to her, and she often found peace by the river, embracing the beauty of the outdoors.
Lynnie enjoyed a long career in home loans and mortgages, showcasing her dedication and intelligence. At home, she was a devoted mother to her daughter Elisha "Eli" Adams, with whom she shared many cherished years, just the two of them. Later in life, her greatest joy became her grandson, Connor Adams, who lit up her world. She extended her love to her son-in-law Brandon Adams and her sister Lorie Coffelt.
Her inquisitive mind drew her to the mysteries of the paranormal, and she was an avid fan of supernatural shows, especially those about ghosts and aliens. Never one to shy away from excitement, Lynnie enjoyed trips to the casino, favoring the thrill of Craps over the slots.
Though we will miss her sassy humor and sharp mind, we take comfort knowing she is reunited with Jesus. She is preceded in death by her parents Gwendole Audene Mayes, J.T. Mayes, and nephew Ron Coffelt.
In celebrating her life, we remember a woman whose spirit was as bright as it was loving, whose curiosity knew no bounds, and whose legacy lives on in the hearts of those she touched.
Let us honor Lynnie's memory by embracing life with the same passion and curiosity that she did, cherishing every moment and every question that comes our way.
