Michael Akins Kilgore of Tulsa, Oklahoma was born September 24, 1959 and passed away June 4, 2016.Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Iona Kilgore of Tulsa, Oklahoma.Mike is survived by his wife Debby of 36 years, son Charlie Kilgore of Tulsa, daughter Stacy Hillstrom and her husband David of Ohio, daughter Kari Kilgore of Tulsa, sister Sharon Hamblin and her husband Dennis of Tulsa, and their daughter Dana Hamblin of Tulsa, along with many other relatives, in-laws, and a multitude of friends.Mike graduated from Will Rogers High School in 1977 and from Oklahoma State University in 1982, where he met his wife Debby.Mike was an Oil and Gas Accounting Manager at Oak Ridge Natural Resources, and had worked in the industry for over 30 years. He enjoyed traveling, spending time in the pool, cooking for family and friends, and everything related to sports.Memorial services will be on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Floral Haven Rose Chapel in Broken Arrow with Pastor James Lacey officiating.In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.orgFriends may send their condolences to www.floralhaven.com
