Obituary for Michael “Mick” John Clusker
Michael “Mick” John Clusker, born on August 3, 1955, in Lawton, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at his home in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on October 19, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was 69 years old.
Mick was the beloved son of James A. Clusker and Blanche Mary Ogez Clusker. He married the love of his life, Deborah Barnes, on January 21, 2002, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Together, they shared many wonderful years filled with love and companionship.
A retired truck driver, Mick was known for his hardworking nature and dedication. He was also a skilled handyman and enjoyed all kinds of carpentry, a trade he learned from his father. Mick had a passion for fishing and loved spending time outdoors. He was an avid sports fan, cheering on his favorite teams, the Cowboys, Lakers, and Cardinals, from the comfort of his home. One of his greatest joys was taking his beloved dog, Sam, on walks.
Mick is survived by his devoted wife, Deborah, of the home; two step-children, John Barnes and his wife Pamela of Bristow, Oklahoma, and Jessica Davidson and her husband Jason of Bristow, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Kallie Cliff and her husband Austin, Dustie Barnes, JJ Davidson, and Blayne Barnes; one great-grandson, Chet Chuculate; his sister, Jan Pero and her husband Gary of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his nephew, Steven Pero of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his brother, Bob Clusker and family of the Philippines; and his cherished dog, Sam. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Floral Haven’s Family Center. Mick will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
