the first time I met Mike I felt a sense of "being home" no one is a stranger in his presence..By the time we parted we shared a hug and a huge smile. the kindness he has always shown and the astounding humanitarian example that he has been to me-Will Shine on for the rest of my life-My world has become so much better due to his being a part of it..I love you so much my dear friend..I vow to always be here for our Cyndi..You're simply the best and will be missed beyond measure xoxox
I did not know Mike but my best friend Delores and her husband Bill are close, longtime friends. She has shared her cherished memories and funny stories with me and told me what a wonderful human being he was. I wish I would have known him but hope his family and friends know that he absolutely made a difference in the lives of others. My hope is that they can find some peace knowing this and that they can gather strength and support from all who love him. Kat Abercrombie
It's easy to feel a significant loss when your family and your long-time friends pass away – there's a definite gap in your day-to-day activities that they filled. But then some people come into your life for just a very short time that have such a significant impact on you, and losing them is just as difficult as one of your family. That was Mike – such an incredible spirit and kind soul that you could not help but be drawn to him. I didn't see Mike (or Cyndi) very often – but i will always regret that I won't have the opportunity to be amazed, and amused, by him in the years to come But i will always remember, and be grateful for, the short time he welcomed me into his world and the memories he gave.
Cyndi, we've never met in person, but you are a cherished soul I've been blessed to meet via FB. Likewise, I never met Mike…but the love and connection between you two was so evident from your FB pictures. While mere words don't assuage the immensity of the grief and loss at this time, please know that my heart reaches out in comfort and love to you…I'm so glad that you and Mike shared precious moments together…Allow the memories of him-of you both- to gladden and warm your spirit. Love and light to you and your family.

Too many wonderful memories to relate, the concerts, trips to dallas, hiking, you finding Cyndi, celebrations of all kinds. I'm so glad we get to keep those and will cherish them the rest of my days. All my love and prayers for Cyndi, Sydney, Nile and all of the family. God bless and keep you.
Michael was loved by many… He made the world a better place for all who knew him… I met him only once, but, I knew him… I knew him by his smile, his love for those in his life and by the heart-felt grief of his friends… May his family draw comfort from the love he had for them and the gift they were to his life… God bless… Carolyn Wesson
