Michael Scott Finn's Obituary
On Tuesday, January 11th, 2022, Mike passed peacefully surrounded by his family and loved ones at the age of 57. He was a light in this world and will be deeply missed by many. Our hearts our heavy by this unexpected loss. The world has lost a great son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Mike was born in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, on August 21st, 1964 to Betty and Ray Finn. He dedicated his skills to the automotive industry and was a beloved part of the Barron and Hart family in Tulsa for more than 30 years. He spent much of his spare time going to concerts, enjoying computer games, trying new foods, discovering new music, memorizing and telling the best (and worst) dad jokes, building his vast card collection, and spending time with family and friends. Mike loved sharing all of his interests with everyone, he always wanted others to experience what he did and to feel included.
Mike lived a full life, but if you asked him what his greatest accomplishment was he would tell you it was being a father, grandfather and husband. Mike is survived by his wife Sharlett of 23 years, and his children Derrick Finn, Holly Finn, Calley Finn, Jonathan Whitney, and James Whitney, his parent Silas Hall, his sister Tami Forbes and many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. Mike was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend to everyone.
If you knew Mike you knew his kindness. He was a gentle man that had a love for all living things. He was the most genuine person, best described as purely a good man through and through. His unmatched sense of humor and the twinkle in his eyes when he smiled is irreplaceable. His endless sense of love and laughter will never be forgotten.
