Michael James Gerber
Michael James Gerber, age 66, of Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away on November 9, 2025.
Michael was born on August 14, 1959, in Granite City, Illinois, to Charles Eligius Gerber Sr. and Patsy Viola (Siemer) Gerber. He grew up with a strong work ethic and spent his career as a radiator man, a trade in which he took great pride.
Beyond his work, Michael found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved fishing, where he could enjoy the peace of nature, and he was passionate about playing pool. Over the years, he competed in countless leagues and tournaments, building friendships and memories along the way.
Michael’s greatest source of pride was his family. He is survived by his children, James Gerber, Jeremy Gerber, and Michelle Hunter; numerous grandchildren who brought him endless joy; and his brothers, Charles Gerber Jr., Robert Gerber, and Mark Gerber.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Patsy Gerber, and his brother, Edward Gerber.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Harvest Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Family and friends are invited to gather, share stories, and honor Michael’s memory.
Michael will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his love of competition, and the warmth he brought to those around him. His legacy lives on in the laughter of his grandchildren, the camaraderie of his pool-playing friends, and the enduring love of his family.
