Mike "Fox" Hardy's Obituary
Michael William Hardy, 64, of Bixby, Oklahoma formerly Clarksville, Tennessee passed away Sunday June 27th, 2021. He was born May 3rd, 1957, to Alfred and Juanita Hardy at Carswell Airforce Base in Fort Worth, Tx. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, Red Horse Combat Construction Group as well as the Prime BEEF Combat Response Unit. After serving in the military he went on to become a first responder, Chief of the Palmyra Fire District in Montgomery County, Tennessee and finally a construction Superintendent for over 30 years. Above all else he enjoyed serving others and was known for his willingness to roll up his sleeves and fix anything. He had a love for Harley Davidson Motorcycles, history, carpentry, and spending time with his grandkids. Mike was preceded in death by his father Alfred Hardy and his son Eric Hardy, both of Clarksville, TN. He is survived by his wife, Julie Hardy; sons Michael Hardy (Cranberry Township, PA) and Riley Close (Tulsa, OK); daughters Teryn Brown and Phoebe Wetsel (Fort Worth, Tx); Sons in law Ryan Brown, Jeff Wetsel and Brent Thelen; grandkids Zeke Wetsel, Nixon Brown, Lillee Hardy, Excee Hardy, and Georgia Wetsel; Mother, Juanita Hardy (Clarksville, TN); brother Mark Hardy and his wife Susan Hardy (Woodstock, GA); sister Kathleen York and her husband Dan York (Lynchburg, VA); sister Brenda Defibaugh and her husband Ken Defibaugh (Chesterfield, VA); Dana Foutch (MT. Juliet, TN).
Visitation will be held from 9 am - 12 pm on Friday, July 2 at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
Services will be at 2 pm on Friday, July 2 at the Floral Haven Rose Chapel.
