Michael "Mick" Edward Kuhn's Obituary
Michael "Mick" Edward Kuhn, 76, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on February 15, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Michael was born on November 19, 1948, in Logansport, Indiana to the late Donald Leo and Winifred June (Swearingen) Kuhn. On January 4, 1969, Michael married his childhood sweetheart, Kathy Lynn Overpeck, in Logansport, Indiana, embarking on a journey filled with love, adventures, and shared dreams.
Known affectionately as "Mick," he had a knack for fixing everything and saw every challenge as a puzzle to be solved, earning him the nickname "MacGyver." He was a candy connoisseur, with a special fondness for Banana or Black Licorice Salt Water Taffy and Werther's Caramels.
Mickâs passion for travel often led him to the mountains, where he found peace and joy. His love for golf brought him frequently to the greens of Cherokee Hills. However, his favorite pastime was spending time with his grandsons, who brought immense joy and pride into his life.
Mick is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Kathy Kuhn; his children, Karla Roe (Cory), and Christopher Kuhn; his grandsons, Logan Roe and Dylan Roe; and his granddaughter and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Don Kuhn, Barbara Kuhn, and Kerry Kuhn; along with numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
A memorial service to celebrate Mick's life will be held at 12:30 PM on Friday, March 7, 2025, at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. Family and friends are invited to honor a man whose life was a testament to love, resilience, and the joy of problem-solving.
