Michael "Mike" Lyn Pearcy's Obituary
Michael Lyn Pearcy, 55, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away February 10, 2017. A memorial service will be held for Mike at Floral Haven Funeral Home on Saturday, February 25, at 12:30 pm. Mike was born to Carrol “Coke” and Henrietta Pearcy on February 11, 1961. Mike was born at Tulsa’s Hillcrest Hospital and attended Will Rogers High School, graduating in 1979. He worked for the Hillcrest Health System for some years but made his career at Tulsa International Airport as a ead heavy equipment operator over Field Maintenance, where he retired in 2014. Mike was a registered member of the Boy Scouts and a registered member of the Girl Scouts as well. He was a bit partial to the Girl Scouts, as his wife and daughter were heavily involved in Scouting. He enjoyed gardening, camping, woodworking, cooking and band trips with his daughter, when she was in Edison High School’s Music Department. Mike was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by Michele, his high school sweetheart who became his wife of 35 years, his Daughter Erica Steele and her wife, Jamie, as well as their two children, Jack Thomas and Emmalynn Ruby. Mike was the youngest of the Pearcy’s four children. His is survived also by his brother, Gary Pearcy, and his wife Debbie, as well as Gary’s children, Joseph and Kelly. His sister Marilyn “Muff” and husband Mark Polumbus and their children, Clay, Kate and Josh, his sister Pam, her husband Richard, and their children Nick and Tim as well as many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
