Michael McCorkle's Obituary
In Loving Memory of
Michael Allen "Mike" McCorkle
November 18, 1950 - October 11, 2025
It is with deep love and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Allen
"Mike" McCorkle, who went home to be with the Lord on October 11, 2025, at the age of 74.
Mike was born on November 18, 1950, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Leonard and Rosetta (Foster) McCorkle. He moved to Los Angeles, California as a child and spent most of his life there. In 2004, he retired and returned home to Locust Grove, Oklahoma to be closer to his parents and family. He passed away peacefully in Tulsa, surrounded by love.
Mike was a devoted father, loving uncle, and dear friend to many. He worked for years as a Press Operator Supervisor, where he was admired for his dedication, leadership, and kindness. He loved football, horses, fishing, playing games, and most of all, Mike loved his family and his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His bond with his daughter was one of his greatest joys, and his faith was the foundation of his life.
He was known for his gentle spirit, big heart, quick wit, and willingness to help anyone in need. Mike was kind, slow to anger, funny, and sweet - truly the best father, brother, uncle, and friend anyone could have.
He is survived by his beloved daughter Crystal Stine (McCorkle) and son-in-law Jonathan Stine, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Rosetta McCorkle, and his siblings, Terry McCorkle and Janice Hoxsie.
