Mike was pensive.

For a tiny girl he and Steve were the big brothers I never had. Our moms were BFFs since they were 8. I don't remember a holiday we didn't spend with the Miller family. My sons are named Ja and Joel. Coincidence? [If I had ever had a girl she was going to be named Leslie ❣️]
I'm still catching my breath since I only just learned of Mike's passing Tuesday 2. 2. 21 12:21AM
Jan's birthday would have been January 23. She's been gone since 1975.

Mike was such a great guy. I have a memory that has stayed with me from when I was only about 14 or 15. The Miller house was my second home on the weekends, and one day I was walking up the stairs when Mike commented to me that I should be careful about the length of my dress because it could stumble a boy. This was in the 70's when short dresses were the style. I took his advise as a "big brother" to heart, and have always remembered it. I am thankful he was a friend. My prayers are with all of the family during this time. I love each of you.

Mike was such a fun guy. Growing up he would keep us all laughing. I was privileged to have him officiate at our wedding 46 years ago. He loved the Lord read A LOT of books, knew the Bible like no one I’ve ever known, except maybe my other brother Steve. He gave me 2 wonderful nephews who in turn gave me 2 adorable great nephews. It is so hard to say good bye, but we have the hope of seeing him again.
