Michael Robert Morgan's Obituary
Michael Robert Morgan, 74 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born June 20, 1944 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to the late Robert Morgan and Marjorie Arnall Nash.Michael worked as a maintenance engineer for Southern Hills Country Club for many years. He was a man of integrity and excellent work ethic. As his children were growing up he was sure to teach them the importance of taking pride in their work and practice good work ethic. He was truly a “Good Guy” and all that knew him would say just that. He was crazy about his loving wife of 37 years, Jeannie. When Michael was asked to help raise his grandson and take care of his mother-in-law, he never once complained, but was happy to do so, he loved his family. One thing he really enjoyed doing was fishing and would love to take others with him to see who could catch the biggest fish.He is survived by his wife, Jeannie Marie Strout Morgan of the home; one daughters, Mechelle Wise of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two sons, Bobby Brewster of Coweta, Oklahoma and Allen Drake and wife Tiffany of Bentonville, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Joshua Morgan, Dakota White, Mariah Drake and Zachariah Drake; and two great-grandchildren, Dante Drake and Baby Boy Daughtry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Marjorie and one daughter, Kimberly Morgan.A graveside memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens with Pastor James Lacey officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Francis Hospice, 6600 S Yale Ave # 350, Tulsa, OK 74136.
