Mike Patterson's Obituary
Mike Patterson, age 70, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life, Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Saint John Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma unexpectedly. Michael Darrell was born October 24, 1951 to Virdel and Pearl Inez (Van Orden) Patterson in Sulphur, Oklahoma.
He was soft spoken man with a wicked sense of humor. Mike moved to the Tulsa area close to 58 years ago.
He was a high school graduate from Sand Springs, Oklahoma and married Beverly Dawn Mathis on April 7, 1996 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Mike worked in the Tulsa area, retiring from Goodwill. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed fishing and listening to the Beatles.
He was preceded in death by his parents Virdel and Pearl Inez Patterson and a brother Rick Patterson.
He is survived by his wife Beverly Patterson of Tulsa, Oklahoma, a sister Cindy Cookson and her husband Allen of Rogers, Arkansas, a sister-in-law Fran Patterson of Sulphur, Oklahoma and a very special caregiver and friend Tammy Winn of Tulsa, Oklahoma, three nephews and their spouses, Ross Patterson and Shannon, Brandon Geiger and Lisa, Greg Geiger and Lindsey, two nieces Lori and Reece Clinton, Kelly and Pat Koele, numerous cousins, friends, great nephews and great nieces.
Mike will be greatly missed by all. We are thankful for the countless memories we have.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mike's name and honor to the American Diabetes Association
Graveside services will be in Sulphur, Oklahoma at a later date.
