Michael "Mike" Brady Roark Sr.'s Obituary
Michael Brady Roark, Sr., lovingly known as “Pops,” passed away on March 11, 2026, at 3:44 a.m., at the age of 82. Michael was born on March 8, 1944, and made his home in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he built a life centered on faith, family, and service to others.
Mike was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his beloved wife, Trinket Roark; his son, Michael, and wife Amy; his daughter, Stacy Jackson, and husband Rob; and his son, Scott, and wife Kathy; as well as his sister, Linda Roark-Strummer. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Courtney, Kayla, Kristin, Cameron, Jacob, Brandon, Arwen, Brady, Jude, and Gavin, and a cherished great-grandfather to 12 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense joy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ivan and Hilda Roark; his brother, Jerry Roark; sisters-in-law Patricia Alford and Dixie Plumb; brothers-in-law Peter Strummer and Scott Plumb; and his cherished granddaughter, Charity Roark.
Mike dedicated his professional life as a Regional Sales Manager with AAON, Inc., where he was respected for his knowledge, strong work ethic, and leadership. Beyond his career, he had a deep love for music and could often be found singing or playing guitar. He also enjoyed connecting with friends on his HAM radio, proudly known by his call sign, WA5BGT.
He found joy in snow and water skiing, had a lifelong love of cats, was a pilot with a fascination for airplanes, and especially loved spending time in the mountains. Known for his ability to fix almost anything, he was always willing to lend a hand to those around him.
Known for his kind heart and generous spirit, Mike was always willing to share his knowledge and teach others, leaving a lasting impact on everyone he encountered. His Christian faith was the foundation of his life. He loved and followed God faithfully and devoted many years to serving the youth at First Presbyterian Church, where he helped guide and mentor countless young lives.
Mike’s legacy is one of love, faith, and dedication. He will be remembered for his warmth, his wisdom, and the steady presence he provided to his family and community. Though he will be deeply missed, the lessons he taught and the love he gave will live on in all who knew him.
A service to honor and celebrate Mike’s life will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Floral Haven Cemetery.
