Michael “Mike” David Summerhill, 68 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 in a Tulsa hospital with his family by his side. He was born December 30, 1950 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to his parents, Bonnie and Flora Summerhill. Mike married the love of his life, Carolyn “Carol” Gann on February 3, 1977 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and they have shared in 42 beautiful years together.Mike loved fishing and camping with his family and friends and he loved playing games with his kids and grandkids. He was a true family man that stood behind his family and shared in many wonderful memories together. He also enjoyed helping his wife, Carol with wood crafts.Mike is survived by his loving wife, Carol Summerhill of the home; daughter, Bonnie May Poole and husband Chris of Tulsa, Oklahoma; son, Archie Rios and wife Terri of Tulsa, Oklahoma; son, Brandon David Summerhill of Texas; sister, Judy Hayes of Midway, Kentucky; sister, Fern Hendrix of Florida; four grandchildren, Keyanna Lee, Casey Blackwell, William Blackwell, and Kassie Brannan; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bonnie and Flora Summerhill; two brothers, Carl Dean Summerhill and Buford Summerhill; and sister, Leona Spangler.Graveside memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2019 at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Veteran’s Field of Honor, Phase II.
