Michael Stanley Taylor's Obituary
Michael Stanley Taylor, 64, of Broken Arrow went to be with his Lord and Savior, February 15, 2012. Born September 19th, 1947 in Bristow, OK to W. F. “Bill” and Lenora Taylor. Mike was a graduate of Oklahoma State University. He was employed as the Division Chair for Engineering Technologies at OSU Institute of Technology in Okmulgee. Mike previously worked as the Director of Education at Associated Builders and Contractors. Mike was preceded in death by his father Bill and a son Christopher. He is survived by his wife Marla Taylor; his mother Lenora Taylor; a son Stephen Taylor, his wife Charissa and daughters Alexis and Avery; a daughter Jill Anthony and her husband Judah; a son Randy Scharringhausen; a brother Tony Taylor and his wife Claudia; as well as many other friends and family who loved him. A memorial service will be held at The Church at BattleCreek at 10:30AM, Saturday, February 18, 2012. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Mike Taylor Scholarship Fund at OSU Institute of Technology. Checks should be made payable to the OSU Foundation with a memo stating it is for the Mike Taylor Scholarship Fund.
