Michele Chere Hutchins' Obituary
Michele Chere Hutchins of Mannford, Oklahoma went home to
be with Jesus on December 10th, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. On
September 22, 1954, Michele was born to Ima Lou Glover and
Jack R. Mendenhall. She graduated from Monte Casino in 1972,
where she went on to Bryant Institute to become a nursing
assistant. Michele loved to sew, bake, and teach Sunday school
at Mannford Assembly of God where she faithfully attended.
Proceeded in death by Jack R. Mendenhall, Nancy Mendenhall,
and son Jack Shivery. Survived by husband Ray Hutchins and
daughter Shawna Gilbert and her husband Matt Gilbert;
brother Mike Mendenhall and sister April Horton; nephews
Jake and Ryan Horton; cousins Ralph and Rosa Jerome, Ralph
and Stacy Jerome, Colby and Alyssa Jerome; Grandchildren
Noah Ellis, Mariah and Andy Johnston; great grandson Elliott
Johnston; and many other cousins from Poteau, Oklahoma;
and “Best Friend Ever” - Donnell Stone.
A memorial service will be held at the Mannford Assembly of God church on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.
