I and my family would like to thank everyone who has faithfully kept Mom and us in your loving thoughts and prayers. Mom slipped into a coma as a result of a massive stroke and later passed peacefully in her sleep. My sister Donna and I were privileged to be there when she drew her last breath. She was 84. She never had much in worldly goods, but her children (and grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren) and her faith in her God and Savior were her life and she laid up her treasures in Heaven, where we rejoice in knowing that she is fully reaping the benefits of the sacrifices she made on this earth and in the utmost confidence that her rewards are many. We also have no doubt that she is singing the loudest in the heavenly choir and truly "making a joyful noise"! She left a legacy of love and a well-raised and well-taught family, along with all the other children and teens (and even adults) that she taught and strongly influenced along the way. Truly, one person CAN change the world. We were so blessed to have had such a strong and dynamic mother and example, who gave us her love, her strength, her values, and her faith in our miracle-working God. She can now truly say, "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing." (2 Timothy 4:7-8 KJV). And without a doubt, God's response to her will be: "Well done, you good and faithful servant: . . . enter into the joy of your lord." (Matthew 25:21 KJV).We love you and miss you already, Mama! You were God's greatest blessing to us!Your "baby girl," Connie
