Suzanne Green's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Mildred Suzanne Green June 29, 1944 – April 24, 2025
Mildred Suzanne Green, known to all as Suzanne, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2025. Born on June 29, 1944, she leaves behind a legacy of warmth, love, and cherished memories.
Suzanne devoted her life to her family and her community, embracing her role as a homemaker with grace and kindness. As a dedicated church librarian at Riverview Baptist, she found joy in sharing stories and wisdom, fostering a love for learning in those around her. Her involvement in the Rockers senior activities group at Riverview Baptist brought her immense happiness, providing her with countless friendships and treasured moments.
She had a deep love for nature, particularly in her garden, where she nurtured beauty and life. Blue Bonnets, her favorite flowers, were a reflection of her gentle spirit and appreciation for the world around her. An exceptional quilter, Suzanne’s artistry and craftsmanship turned fabric into heartfelt creations, weaving love into every stitch.
One of her greatest joys in life was traveling with her beloved husband, John "Neil" Green. Together, they embarked on countless day trips across Oklahoma, embracing adventure and discovery wherever the road led them.
Suzanne is survived by her children, Michael Green and David Green (wife Sarah); her granddaughter, Grace Green; and her sister, Kathleen Tubbesing (husband Jim). She also leaves behind a loving extended family and many dear friends whose lives she touched profoundly. She is now reunited in eternal peace with her husband Neil, her parents Houston B. Watson and Mildred S. Dodgen, and her siblings Malcolm Watson, Billy Watson, John Watson, and Martha Jean Nelson.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Stone Haven and River Cross Hospice for their exceptional care of Suzanne in her final days.
Though she is no longer with us, Suzanne’s love, wisdom, and kindness will live on in the hearts of those she left behind. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
