Mildred Maudie Henson was born August 8, 1926 in Watts, Oklahoma, the daughter of Jay Ransom and Myrtle Mae (Hooper) Simpson. Mildred was one of five girls and grew up in the Combs Watts community, later meeting her husband Carl Henson of 55 years in Tahlequah. Mildred spent her remaining years in the Tulsa/Broken Arrow area while working and retiring from Sears. Mildred spent her years on earth displaying her kind and loving soul that was devoted to her faith, family and friends. Mildred passed from her life on Monday, January 31, 2005 in Tulsa after reaching the age of 78. Mildred touched many lives and leaves behind many other relatives, loved ones and friends.Survived By: her husband: Carl Henson;2 sons: Howard Lee Henson and his wife Lynn, Carl Gene Henson and his wife Susan;4 grandchildren: Russell A. Henson and wife Kristi, Angela R. (Henson) Miller and husband Ryan, Orlando Dumalag, James Lester Henson; 2 great grandchildren: Bailey Nicole Henson and Ethan Riley Henson. She was preceded in death by her parents and her four sisters.
