Mildred Louise Kyte's Obituary
Mildred Louise Kyte, a resident of Tulsa for forty years, passed away of congestive heart failure, in her home, Wednesday morning on the 28th of July at 12:36 am. Hurley Kyte, her husband of sixty-three years as of July 26th, 2010, survives Mildred. At her side at the time of death were her three children, Katherine Cohea, and her husband Bud Cohea, Karla Coulson, and Steve Kyte. Also, at her side were her two granddaughters, Rebekah Cohea and Elissa Cohea. Her two grandsons' were unable to arrive in time. The oldest grandson, Christopher Cohea and his wife Erin Cohea, resides in Phoenix, Arizona. While the youngest grandson, Joshua Coulson is currently attending OSU in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She was born on January 16th, 1928 in Independence, Missouri, to the parents of Thomas and Bessie Lloyd who precede her in death, along with her brother Lawrence Pixley, his son Charles Pixley, nephew Bim Anderson, and daughter-in-law Patricia Kyte. Her sister Opal Mae Anderson (Sis) of Independence, Missouri and nieces Patty Hodges, Sandy Kettner, Sheri Frank, Brenda Gann, Pam Sparks, and Lisa Harris also survive her. Mildred a loving companion, wonderful mother and faithful servant of our Lord, will be greatly missed in the lives of everyone she touched. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. in the Floral Haven Chapel.
