Mildred Delores Mitchell 79 years of age, passed away July 21, 2010 in Tulsa. Mrs. Mitchell was born July 28, 1930 in Tulsa to Monroe and Anna Mae Howard. She worked in the insurance field most of her life, and was last employed by St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. She is survived by her husband James Mitchell Sr. of the home in Broken Arrow, a son James (Jim) Jr. and a daughter Annette Fern Grant. She has 1 Brother Robert (Ricky) Howard, and 4 sisters, Norma Hyde, Dorothy Hyde, Shirley Mullins and Lora Johnson surviving. There are also 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and one on the way left to share her legacy. Visitation will be 12-9 p.m. Saturday, and 9-9 p.m. Sunday with the family receiving friends 3- 5 p.m. Sunday all at the Floral Haven Funeral Home. Services 10 a.m. Monday Carbondale Assembly of God Church in Tulsa with interment in the Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow. lieu of flowers friends may contribute to the Tim and Liz Sebastian Missionary Fund, 1445 N. Boonville, Springfield, Missouri.
