Mitchell Raymond Overton's Obituary
Mitchell Raymond Overton, age 21, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 18, 2020. He is survived by his parents, Linda (Provance)Rhodes and Keith Overton; his grandparents, Mamie and Raymond Provance; and many extended family members. Mitchell was born April 27, 1999, and was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, by his mother, Linda
(Provance) Rhodes, his father, Keith Overton, and his stepfather, Don Rhodes. He graduated from Berryhill High School in 2017, and Tulsa Tech
2017 and went on to work in the heating and air industry before joining the United States Army. Mitchell had a kind heart and an adventurous spirit and was known throughout his circle of friends as someone who brightened up a room the moment he entered. During his Army training, Mitchell met Kennedy Alexis Behm, whom he loved very much. Kennedy and Mitchell went to be with the Lord together after sustaining injuries in a motorcycle accident. They were loved and supported by many loyal friends.
Mitchell created so many sweet memories with those dear to him and he will
be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were privileged to know him.
A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 28,
2020, at Newspring Assembly of God, located at 2907 W. 108th Place S, Jenks, OK 74037. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that toy donations be made to local charities this holiday season in Mitchell’s memory. In the near future, a foundation will be established in Mitchell’s name to help and assist those in need.
