Molly Sue Faucault's Obituary
Molly S. Faucault, 63, of Broken Arrow, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2023, with family by her side.
Molly, the daughter of James and Noreen (Neale) Kennard was born August 14, 1959 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She married Bruce Faucault on February 14, 1987. She is survived by her husband, Bruce, her children, Katie and Zack, her son-in-law, Ben, and her beloved grandchildren, Angel and Josiah, as well as her parents, James and Noreen, and sisters, Kathy, Amy, Mary, Nora, and Jenny. She has an extended family filled with uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Many knew Molly through her exemplary work with the Challenger League. Through her incredible son, Zack, she began her journey into the special needs community when twenty-plus years ago, Molly was asked to lead a small baseball league for children with special needs. Over time, that league expanded to include baseball, basketball, bowling, flag football, and a mighty Special Olympics family of teams known as B.A. Challenger. Having a profound and lifelong impact, Molly was adored by her B.A. Challenger family. Her legacy is rich and everlasting.
Most notably, Molly was the matriarch of her family. She loved her family fiercely, and they were the light of her life. Molly’s grandchildren provided her endless joy, as did her children, spouse, and papillon, Calli. Molly was deeply connected to her parents and five sisters, a bond that she nurtured and held close to her heart. Molly was a phenomenal cook, and she celebrated holidays with zest.
All who knew and loved Molly feel the loss of her, deeply and perpetually.
A celebration of life will be planned for this summer. A scholarship fund has been set up in Molly’s name to sponsor athletes to participate in Special Olympics each year. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Molly Faucault Scholarship fund. Donations can be made through Venmo @mollyfaucaultscholarshipfund.
