Reva Monell Neundorf's Obituary
Monell Nuendorf, 104 of Tulsa passed from this life on January 27, 2019 with family by her side. She was born on Christmas Eve of 1914 to Frank and Larka Odom in Stratford, Oklahoma.Monell is survived her two sons. Thomas (Tommy) Williams Jr. of Tulsa and Robert Williams and wife Paula of Tulsa; her four grandchildren Carley Williams and wife Carrie of Tulsa, Bryan Williams and wife Nicole of Bixby, Lauren Williams and fiancé Jacob Pastrana of Tulsa and Corey Robinson of California; her four great grandchildren Connor (15) Caraline (12) Braden (11) and Maddie (6);and her sister Maxine Odom of California. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Thomas E. Williams Sr., her second husband Gus Neundorf, and six of her seven siblings.Monell went to Devol High School in Oklahoma and graduated in 1933. She grew up on a farm and credited being a farmer’s daughter is what made her a positive, active, inquisitive and disciplined person. After two years of college, she became the Asst. County Superintendent of Tillman County. She met and married Thomas Williams in 1938 and moved to Tulsa in 1941. She was the second woman employed by the Corp of Engineers during WWII. Monell and Thomas had two sons, Tommy in 1949 and Robert in 1952.Later in life Monell met Gus Neundorf on the dance floor. After they married in 1990, they explored the U.S by motorhome while continuing their love of dancing along the way. The couple moved into the Parke Assisted Living in 2006. After Gus passed in 2013, Monell stayed at the Parke with all of her friends and the wonderful staff until she passed. She enjoyed playing games such as bingo and dominos daily. She was very active and was loved by everyone that met her. Monell will be greatly missed by all of her friends and family.
