Morris C. Brackeen's Obituary
Morris C. Brackeen joined his loved ones in heaven on October 23, 2010. He was born in Georgia, Texas on September 1, 1929 to Samuel Thomas and Anna Cleo (Hill) Brackeen. Morris graduated from high school in Georgia, Texas. He served his country in the United States Army and worked as an Operating Engineer for the Property Company of America before retiring. Morris was a member of the Church of Christ in Glenpool. He loved animals, especially dogs and his dog Misty will greatly miss him. Morris enjoyed gardening and country music. He was known as a hard worker, loyal friend and a good man….a very good man. Morris was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers, 2 sisters and his first wife Maxine. He is survived by his wife: Edith Jerema Brackeen of Mannford, Oklahoma; sister: Juanita Davis of Irving, Texas; sisters-in-law: Patsy Sowersby of Kellyville, Oklahoma, Jean and Robert Sanders of Mannford, Oklahoma; brother-in-law: Jimmy and Kathy Smith of Mannford, Oklahoma; step-daughters: Rosa Lee and her husband Jon Cavalier and family of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, Ulonda Claxton of Mannford, Oklahoma and grandchildren, Jeremiah, Sharissa, Trista, Gabriel Claxton and 7 great grandchildren and many other extended family members and friends.
